If you asked a hundred people for a thousand places to see before you die, you might get a list similar to this. There is no doubt that you can do what other reviewers have done and thought of something that should be on the list but isn't. Overall however, this is a well thought out list with a wide variety of things to see and do.

Great gift idea
I love the idea behind putting 1,000 Places to See in the U.S.A. & Canada Before You Die together. It's neat to look through 1,000 Places to See in the U.S.A. & Canada Before You Die and see the places that I have already visited. Now when I drive through certain states I will make sure to visit these sites that I didn't know were such landmarks! I am getting 1,000 Places to See in the U.S.A. & Canada Before You Die for all of my friends for Christmas who I know take one or two vacations a year or who travel for work...heck, if you pass through several states on your way to your destination, you can knock out more of these than you think! Great idea for a book!
1000 places
I bought 1,000 Places to See in the U.S.A. & Canada Before You Die before a recent road trip with my husband. It was very handy to give me insight to places we were visiting or ideas I hadn't already had. Overall it's just a fun book to have! I like to highlight all the places we have been.
