great for a small person
I love this backpack for my camera. I'm small at 5'0''. Most other camera backpacks are too big for me. This one fits like a glove.
Too small for S2 IS
This is a nice bag, but don't buy it for a Canon S2 IS it will not fit. The product compatibility lists the S1 IS since the S2 and S1 are very similar I purchased this bag. I can't even get the thing in the bag. It is a nice bag however and have put my smaller Kodak camera in it. There is plenty of room for a typical point and shoot camera and all of it's accessories. Good quality.
Targus Pro Series Video/Photo Backpack for those with multiple digital gadgets and accessories
I purchased the Targus Pro Series Video/Photo Backpack (DPMV02) after searching for a camera case for my new digital camera. I will cover its storage ability, portability/ergonomics, quality, asthetics, and price in the review below.
Storage
I currently use this backpack to store my Canon Powershot A75, Creative Labs Nomad MuVo2 4GB MP3 Player with headphones, a spare disposable camera, and the battery chargers for my MuVo and NiMH AA batteries. I plan to replace the disposable camera with a digital camcorder next month. In addition to the primary devices I store my user manuals, additional rechargeable and alkaline batteries, extra compact flash cards, and a bottle of water.
okay case
The bag is pretty good, but it's a bit tight for the digital camera I bought. Not a flaw in the case, but not the best for ultra zoom type digital cameras.
Incompatible with Panasonic Lumix FZ1
The manufacturer apparently states this case is compatible with the Panasonic FZ1 (and by extension the FZ3 which has an identical body). I bought it and can report that it is not compatible with the FZ1. With just the lens cap on you have to jam it into the bag sideways and then wrestle with the camera to get it back out. If you prefer to use the camera with the lens hood adapter on the camera can't fit in the bag at all. There's also no padding to speak of with this case. By comparison my Lowe case for my Canon EOS Elan provides a secure, padded repository and you can put the camera in lens down with the strap on top so the camera can easily be withdrawn again.
