I have persistent plantar fasciitis in my left arch at the insertion point near the heel. In other words, I suffer from an achy left foot. I employ a number of means to keep the foot pain down. I use ice and often just a tennis ball. But this Homedics foot massager definitely helps increase the circulation in my foot and reduces the pain in my arch. In short, it gets the job done.
My lone complaint is that there isn't a way built into the ... Read More
Not really a "massager".
It always takes a few minutes after I turn it on and first put my feet on those spinning circles, to be able to withstand the torturous tickling it does! It's not a "massager" by any definition of mine, but it does tend to relax me once I can stand it. My kids just LOVE the thing and fight over whose turn it is. In all honesty $50 is steep for HoMedics FM-CR Foot Pleaser Foot Massager.
Does and EXCELLENT job
I recently bought HoMedics FM-CR Foot Pleaser Foot Massager from a home store, they have redesigned it some and it looks nicer than the one shown here. It takes a little creative positioning to get all the areas on your feet but it works GREAT when you get it right. They say to only use it while sitting in a chair, I however use it while laying in my bed with a pillow under my ankles and my feet on the massager. That way I am able to get other areas besides just the bottom of my feet. I have paid tons of money for foot massages and am often dissapointed, with this device I am am able to work out the stress rigth where I need to, the rolling balls get in very deep and you adjust the pressure accordingly. I have run my unit for 45 minutes or more at a time with the Heat on with ... Read More
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!
I bought HoMedics FM-CR Foot Pleaser Foot Massager and, like many other customers who have commented on this page, I witnessed the massager die after about twenty minutes of use. I brought it back to the store to exchange it and the saleswoman told me that the associates joke whenever someone buys this that the customer will be back that day to return it! She showed me the yellow stickers that they have to put on returned items before they put them back on the shelves for re-purchase. EVERY SINGLE ONE in the store (Dillard's) had a yellow return sticker on it. Some of them had several. Why these products are allowed to be put back on the shelf, I don't know. There were no less than 20 units that had been brought back. The saleswoman told me not to waste my time. Now, I'm ... Read More
More Foot Pain anyone?
Yes that's correct, this unhandy little device actually increased my foot pain. I work in a job where I stand 9 hours a day so I was looking for anything that could help.
I'll Keep looking.
The little balls that 'massage' your poor feet actually just gouge into your heel and forefoot while you constantly try and keep your feet centered on this contraption.
HoMedics usually makes little miracle machines however this isn't one of them. 1-Star; returned for refund.
