I had been using an "antique" nutchopper for years, one my mother had before me, and it was a stuggle, believe me! Can't imagine why I waited so long to replace it, but this one is a gem, especially for the price.

I purchased this appox. 14 months ago almost didn't due to negative reviews,but very glad I did.It is handy and much easier on hands than the"smash" kind of chopper.Never had a problem with any part of it,and I use it regularly,and the price was good.

I love these hand grinder nut choppers better than the kind that you smash? down on the counter with the blades that chop the nuts. This is more fun and It is nice having the lid on top to keep the nuts inside. It is esspecially easy for kids to use if they want to help you chop the nuts for brownies or something and you don't have to worry about them getting hurt by open blades.

This is my first buy on line. I had hunted everywhere for this nut chopper. Found it here and was very pleased with the product, delivery speed and ease of ordering. I will order again.
