What Others Say

Excellent
This was the second time we purchased this game. We lost the first one. It is definately worth the re-buy.

awsome!!!!!!
The best star wars game in history! the only way to game! i have for PSP and Xbox.psp version is not the best but the xbox is great! my only complaint in that you cant lie down and snipe but thats o.k. The worst map is the jedi tempel because you get blown to bits sooooo easily by one blaster shot. the best maps are: death star, space maps, and mos eilsy.
the map that needs work on the grphics is felucia. buy now this is the best game ever!!!!!!

Support the Rise of the Empire!
I was really hesitant to get this game after playing "Battlefront I". However, I got a good recommendation for it and praise that it was far superior to the first. That's pretty much exactly what I wanted to hear. "Battlefront I" is really cool in concept, but it was lacking a ton. Co-op was practically useless, too fast, and virtually no story. It was just boring! Luckily just about all these misgivings I had for "Battlefront I" were fixed in "Battlefront II".

I'm personally more into co-op based games than the online multiplayer scenarios and when it came to purchasing "Battlefront I" I felt like they forgot about the fans that play co-op. Not so with "Battlefront II". My friend and I spent quite a long time playing through ... Read More

Bringing the battle home...
Battlefront was a great idea. Take all the best battles of the Star Wars movies, and drop players right in the middle where they can team up against each other in squads feel like they're a part of the movies. That game was good. This one is better. Pushing the Xbox about as far as it can go graphically (and even farther on the awesome 360 where resolution is greatly increased), this time around not only do you get to be in the battles from Star Wars, you get space battles and play-time as heroes and villains like Luke Skywalker, General Grievous, Han Solo and Princess Leia. And don't forget Darth Vader and Boba Fett.

You can play this game online, but for me the real reason I bought it (and bought it again after foolishly selling my ... Read More

Just what my son wanted
Frankly, I find this game a little boring, but then I'm not into the shoot 'em up type games. However my son asked for this for Christmas and he is happy with it, which is why I gave it a 5-star overall rating. I first read other reviews on Amazon, where I learned that in Battlefront II, some of the problems with Battlefront I were resolved and I was glad for the advice when I went to purchase. What I do like about this game is that you can play split screen so four players can play at once. The programmers did a great job of keeping all four players separate and you can interact with other players while maintaining separate views - its pretty cool.
