excellent for sand
the only problem with this boundary set is that it does not come with a form to wrap the lines around when not in use. we bought an electrical cord wrap for a few pennies, so it's not a big deal. the orange is a great contrasting color for sand. i don't think it would work well in grass as the stakes are plastic, definitely great for sand though.
