ITW Space Bag BRS-8225 Storage Bags, 2 Pack - 2 Medium Size Bags is not worth buying. The idea is good, but the bags are terrible. We bought several, but only one maintains the vacuum seal. One bag tore right under the ziplock line. Very disappointed with ITW Space Bag BRS-8225 Storage Bags, 2 Pack - 2 Medium Size Bags. It did not perform as advertised.
One of the worst products I have ever bought.
The plastic that these bags are made of is way too thin to be practical. The bags rip very easily, even when used exactly as the manufacturer specifies. For the money you pay for what is essentially a plastic seal-lock bag with a valve, you'd think you would get a bag that utilized a thicker sheet of plastic. Also, the bags do not keep their seal. The valve itself can keep the air in after the air is vacuumed out, but not over an extended period of time. Perhaps the manufacturer could make the screw-on cap, more reliable. Perhaps the seams of the plastic bag are not sufficient. Perhaps the bags could be made more durably, I'm not sure, but ITW Space Bag BRS-8225 Storage Bags, 2 Pack - 2 Medium Size Bags is really poorly made.

Works ok, but not a sure thing
I purchased ITW Space Bag BRS-8225 Storage Bags, 2 Pack - 2 Medium Size Bags along with ITW Space Bag BT-9362 Vacuum Seal Storage Bags, Set of five. All were used to store clothes. If you are going to store a large amount of clothes I suggest just purchasing the large, x-large, and jumbo size. After opening the ziplock of two of the bags, I noticed that each bag was stuck closed and I needed to carefully pry the bags open. Thankfully none of the bags tore. All but one of the bags remained deflated.
Space Bags
I purchased several different sizes of the space bags. They do decrease the size of space used to store items. However, I was extremely surprised when the seal was vacuumed up into my vacuum cleaner hose, making the space bag a giant zip lock bag, without making the volume smaller. Not only that, my vacuum cleaner hose is now useless and has to be brought in to be repaired because it seems that the seal's diameter must be very close to the diameter of the vacuum cleaner hose! Amazon did replace the product, but I will be out of pocket for the repair of the hose and the fact that I can't use my vacuum cleaner until I get the hose repaired.
100% Failure
I purchased two of this item, for a total of four space-bags. I used them according to the instructions, putting less into them than the commercials indicate. Within days, all four had leaked - not one kept the air out.
