What Others Say
Excellent helper!
This slow cooker is great. It makes excellent meals and tastes deliciously. I use it once a week and sure will make more frequently when winter comes. It's very simple and easy to use and it's a great helper for people don't like to spend too much time in the kitchen. You can throw your favorite vegetables and meat in this big bowl in the morning or before you go to work and dinner will be ready in 6 to 8 hours. Love it.
Great cooker
It's great for single people who don't have time to cook but want a homecooked meal. It's the perfect size to have a nice meal and then freeze the leftovers for another night.
The Knob BROKE BROKE BROKE
Like everyone else, the knob of my slow cooker broke after a few usage(I read the reviews, so I tried not to touch it at all). I called support and they were not apologetic at all, and want to charge $9.75 for the knob + shipping. Without the knob, it is such a pain to change the settings. I would not recommend this slow cooker.
Wonderful!
I have a 7 quart crock and a smaller 1.5 quart crock, but needed and in between. This has fit the bill perfectly!
Good slow cooker, predictable, no surprises
Gave it as a gift. This works great as a basic slow cooker (crockpot). No surprises here. I have several slow cookers and to me the best is still my West Bend Versatility slow cooker. I came across this (and also bought it from Amazon) through Cook's Illustrated top pick review. I like the WB better because the pot is metal and separates from the base. This means you can take it over the stove and brown meats or sear then move it to the base plate for slow cooking.
