Keep an extra 95-112 Tripod in the car in case of emergencies.
About Stanley's Illumination Tools Stanley makes a wide assortment of lights for use in your workshop, garage, or job site--with tripods, angled heads, and brilliant bulbs to illuminate even the darkest corners.
About the 95-112 Tripod Stanley's 95-112 Tripod flashlight has an innovative tripod design that offers hands-free convenience in all kinds of settings. Use it in the garage to see deep inside a car, or use it in the attic for a bit of awkward home improvement -- this light is always up to the job, and it never slips, slides, or topples.
But the 95-112 Tripod's weather-resistant anodized aluminum space frame construction make it ideal for more than just indoor applications; it's also great for camping, or as an emergency back-up light. Durable, rugged, and ready to take a beating, the 95-112 Tripod never quits or shatters. The multi-position head focuses light exactly where you need it, and you can expect a runtime of well over 200 hours on just nine AA batteries. The simple four-position switch lets you control the brightness, and the low-power indicator will give you a heads-up before the light goes out, so you're never caught alone in the dark.

What Others Say
Good light
This light works great. Has three levels of brightness. We like the versatility of being able to move the light head to the angle we need it. t is being used for projects around the home, outside and even for photographing.
Great Light!
Bought this for my husband and he loves it! Super bright light and the option to use one or all three lights at once is terrific! I don't think anyone can be disappointed with this item.
Caps that hold batteries in legs are cheap
Its a good design. It could be improved upon.I had mine about 1 month when one of the caps that hold the batteries in the leg came off.The threads are cheap.About a month later another came off.If the legs were threaded and it had a metal cap to screw on, it would be much better.
Very nice idea, poor implementation.
In my opinion, the idea behind this light is very nice, but because of a lack of quality in materials, the overall result has suffered.
Features that I found particularly useful include the articulating head and tripod, which permit the tool to direct light without the use of hands--assuming a relatively level surface is available close by. For example, I used this light for wiring a (floor level) receptacle in a room with little natural light (and no power). I have had little use for the variable light intensity, and although I have not "used" the low battery indicator, this appears to be a good feature. Similarly, the "parallel energy cell technology," which apparently allows function on only three batteries, appears to be a very ... Read More
Newer version is better and cheaper
The original Stanley Tripod Flashlight (model 95-112) has six weak LEDs. In 2008, the model was replaced with one having a single bright LED and the same model number. The new one lists at only $10 and sells for less. I compared them against each other. The construction is similar but the light from the new one is much more intense and useful. I don't know why they kept the same model number but the six LED one is on clearance at most stores. Look for the one LED - it is marked on the box. And shop around - you'll be surprised.
