Works better than Apple's sync cable
I bought this cable to keep as a spare at my work so I wouldn't have to carry the original charger back and forth. I was resigned to the fact that I would have to use this cable with a USB/outlet adaptor because the cable that came with my iPhone wouldn't work with my laptop. I have a PCI card with 2 USB ports, and I guess there isn't enough power coming through it to charge my phone. It would start charging but would quit after a couple minutes and actually drain the battery. Lo and behold, I plug this $0.34 cable up to my laptop and iPhone, and it charges it completely just like it does when it is charged up to an standard outlet. GREAT for the price! Does everything it says
I was skeptical about this cable because I had bought one from eForcity a few weeks ago that was advertised similarly. That cable was also about $3 for the cable+shipping, but when I went to plug it in, my computer didn't react at all. That one did charge, but very slowly.
This one works perfectly for my iPod 5G and Vista, and the retractable feature is a real plus. Great buy, glad I didn't resort to buying the $20 official Apple one.

Fast deliver! It's a little bit different from the orginal cable that comes with your iPod but it works the same way, only it's more convenient because it's retractable. Personally experience, because of the difference, your roommate can't steal your cable and claims it as hers.
