We brought the Black and Decker coffee pot to replace a older, slower coffee pot. Well the Black and Decker is a tad faster. Here are the draw backs, try to "sneak a cup" before it's done brewing, you're going to be cleaning up a mess; so we keep it on the tray. The mechanism that allows you to sneak a cup is poorly made. The coffee drains past the hot plate, fogging up the digital screen making it hard to read the program. The glass carafe lip is shaped odd, and again you end up with a mess, so we have to fill our coffee cups over the sink. If you buy this one, before you get to the check out, buy a mop too; you are going to need it.
