Positives greatly out weigh negatives
Everyone who has written a positive reviewed has it right. I find only 2 draw backs: 1. The crumb tray removal to the rear, but this is offset by the controls up front and center where they are needed. 2. The lack of auto shut off, this is more troublesome but forewarned if forearmed. I owned a KRUPS oven for 4 years and find this one superior all the way around. I would buy it again and recommend it to everyone who needs an all around oven in a small kitchen. BTW: For toasted whole grain bread: 4 slices at setting 6 for lightly toasted and setting 7 if you want extra crunch. Great compact oven; easy to use. Right out of the box this product seems well designed. It has full-size oven features in a small package. Controls are well laid out and easy to understand. It's small enough to fit neatly under the cabinet and takes up little, precious counter space. I can easily toast four slices of bread in about six minutes. A good price on a great, little oven! Good, but no light Cuisinart TOB-175BC Convection Toaster Oven/Broiler, Brushed Chrome Works fine, but we had not considered the question of an internal light. This oven does not have one, and we miss it. Great! So far I love this toaster oven. It is better than any I have owned before. I love how it adjusts the time automatically for toasting when you put in more bread immediately after toasting other. It adjusts for the already hot oven and cooks less time. No burning! It also counts down the time it has left for the toast so I can cook other food and have it all finished at the same time. The oven is big enough to cook quite a lot yet it doesn't take up much room on the counter. Great After much reviewing, I finally settled on this oven. It is amazing, works like a charm. I don't think I will ever have to use my stove tops oven again!!!!! | |
