I bought these for a gift for my husband. He a heavy equipment operator. He uses them at work everyday. Loves them, they get great reception. A little hot on the ears during hot weather, but you get use to them. The hearing protection he says is great. He loves them so much he uses them when doing yard work. Great price and very happy with the purchase Peltor Tunes Headset High Quality, Amazing Sound, and Comfortable. I have M/S. I use this headset for/during my aqua therapy exercises. THey help to block out pool sounds and other distracting noises so I have better consentration. Time goes by quickly and by listing to tunes, the workouts are actually fun. I wear them (with the use of my my power chair) for running errands and taking pleasure time to walk my dog . Using the phones helps to block out most traffic noise and other loud sounds. I also wear them while I am doing my house work. I get more done, at a faster pace, with less drudgery. My fatigue seems a lot easier to deal with and my overall mental state of mind is a lot better. 2 years of use so far. Radio issues overstated if you ask me. I use these for doing yard work. My mower is a comercial size Zero-turn mower so the engine sits right behind you. The headset does a great job of quieting things down not just for the mower, but also for the weed eater and blower as well. Yes, the station dial is quite sensitive and yes the signal occasionaly fades but I still love this headset. In fact, I'm upgrading to the newer model with an audio jack so that I can plug in my MP3 player and listen to my custom play list. My only complaint...the wide band across the top that connects the two earpieces blocks the sun and leaves a tanless stripe across my bald head! I shopped around for several weeks to compare price, quality and features. This headset turned out to be the best overall deal. I am pretty pleased with my purchase although the wiring on the left ear seems to be lose. Every once in awhile I have to wiggle it cause that side goes out. The right side still works but not the left and you loose the Stereo sound coming from the headset. It is kinda annoying but I wiggle the wires and it comes back in.Overall, I would give it a 7 out of 10. It does keep out unwanted sounds very well and is VERY comfortable. | |
