Nice semi compact radio
1. I needed a small, batt powered radio for work--> very nice radio, works well, also like the weather radio band, good price--> what else can I say than highly recommended. Bad Mojo Great radio, bad shopping experience ended up costing $10.00 more that was agreed to at the time of the sell. Also ac adapter is not listed and cost extra. But great radio great little radio We bought one of these at least 3 years ago - it's a wonderful little radio. For years it sat on the window sill over our kitchen sink, and we listened to all sorts of radio stations on it. The reception is very good -- we can get neighboring NPR stations, etc. It runs for a long time on its batteries, and in places like the kitchen and the bathroom it's really nice not to have to find a place to plug it in. The style is sleek and very user-friendly, and the preset buttons very handy. We've moved it to our bathroom for morning NPR listening, and it's still going strong. Outstanding little radio This is the second of these radios I've purchased. I bought one to keep in the bathroom for morning news and traffic reports, and my wife liked it so much she immediately wanted one for the kitchen. Don't expect high fidelity music from the little speaker, but the audio is very clear and the reception is excellent. The antenna is only needed for weaker FM stations. Solid radio, great tuner, good value I was looking for this exact type of radio for my in-laws, where is its competition? Small, bedside / portable, digital tuner, I couldnt find anything else that looked good, but with this still for sale there is no need to look elsewhere. No fumbling with analog tuner and drifting signals, this guy locks on and has good reception. Batter life good, controls and setup are easy. Also has sleep mode and alarm mode on top of being a regular radio. I went to radio shack to buy the ac adapter. Radio shack isnt cheap compared to what the price is for this radio, but everyone says the sony one induices noise. Very happy. In-laws love it. | |
