Excellent choice for small table radio.
I have a small FM transmitter connected to my computer. This provides the current "feed" to any FM radio in our home. I had been using my large surviving stereo system in my home office, but that seemed overkill, especially when I had to scramble to turn it down for phone calls and visits. The ICF-M410V portable now sits on my desk giving me the best of everything. Good clear Sony sound quality, and a precise digital tuner.
It is working out very well and should serve me for years to come. I couldn't be more pleased. -- jal
Not too shabby
Nice little radio...does not get AM reception at my desk...something to do with the building setup...boo...the headphone jack is only mono which is terrible, but it does force me to keep one ear open to hear the over head announcements. Overall a great radio
Another Great Radio from SONY
I'm a radio junkie, I have more radios than I can possibly need or use but I just keep buying more. This is a GREAT addition to my collection, the AM reception is really great and the size is perfect, I only wish it had a feature that would lock out ALL NPR stations so I would never have to hear even ONE word from those pathetic bores as I scan through the stations
Excellent choice
I have not complaints. I did have an old multivolt AC adapter that works just find and then save the batteries for camping and other uses. It is a great value.
Deception
weak signal. am stations can be heard only at low volume. distortion if you go just a litle higher. tv channels only if you find the right angle-position. noise otherwise. volume increased when you touch the radio or the antenna. I have a better reception from a $10 Bell and Howell smaller radio. sorry I bought it. I was mislead by a name "sony" it should have said "sorry"
