Please buy this radio
I have owned this radio for one year. I recently had to replace the batteries for the first time. I use it every day. I live in a dead reception area and it works well. We had a tornado last week. I was watching tv until the power went out, then remembered that my bathroom radio had a tv band. I was able to listen to the tv weatherman and know when to take cover. I also own a CC Radio and this one works almost as well for much less money. I feel it is a good investment for emergencies, especially considering its long battery life and lightweight portability. It didn't even lose its presets or the time during the battery change. Sony radio Nice radio except it did not come with a power cord. I had to purchase that separately, and was disappointed it wasn't included to start with. Sony the one and only I've had this radio about 3 weeks now and I think it's very good. It is a nice size - not tiny, not big, just right. I use in in the bathroom getting ready in the morning; in the bedroom while getting dressed & at night when I first go to bed. I've used all the functions - am, fm, tv, weather, clock. The reception requires some positioning for am and the antenna some movement for some fm stations but only a few stations in either am or fm. The tv is surprising strong and is handy to listen to the end of a show when you can't stay in front of the tv any longer. I highly recommend this mutli function portable radio. Bathroom Radio operates fine on am and fm stations. Weather channel has no reception. Sony radio Great little radio. Good reception and easy to use functions. Only thing Sony could have done is include the AC adaptor. | |
