Sony SRF-M37v
I base my ratings of am/fm headphone radios mostly on reception and my gold standard is the Sangean DT-210v, whose reception is five star in both am and fm and therefore my favorite headphone radio. This little Sony isn't bad however, and I think its ergonomics are better than the Sangean. I would give it five stars for am and three stars for fm. If Sony would improve the fm reception a little and give it a bass boost it would be perfect. You can't go wrong if you mostly listen to am talk radio and aren't as concerned with fm. It's fm isn't bad, just not as good as the Sangean, at least where I live- suburbia!

Well worth the investment
As a portable, compact AM/FM radio the Sony SFR-M37V certainly fills the bill as a welcome companion during bike rides, strolls and jogs. The reception in both AM and FM is perfectly acceptable. The headphones however are bulky, unwieldy and not especially of good quality. Considering most of us have alternatives from other electronic devices, this isn't a major problem.

Perfect for walking
Excellent reception in AM and FM for the size radio and for what it's intended..for mobility. I like the key Lock feature that prevents accidental changing of the channel/power off. I was pleasantly surprised that a radio this small that uses only one AAA battery could perform so well. It even has a power bar to tell you when the battery is running low. This is small enough to put in your pocket if you like but also has a detachable belt clip.

Excellent value!!!

sony SFR-M37V review
great!! It is the perfect size and I love getting to listen to tv in my car as I travel for my job. The only reason I gave 4 versus 5 stars is b/c I can only pick up 2 local channels clearly. Luckily, they are my two favorite ones.

Small and compact
Good product, I wish it was a little bit stronger but who's to tell with am/fm radio being the way it is...
