Just what I needed
I was looking for a small portable radio with AM to listen to sports AM broadcasts. This Sony AM/FM radio fits the bill.
Positives:
- includes TV and weather bands - nice to have
- has 5 presets for each band.
- has digital clock
- requires only a single AAA battery
Negatives:
- small, not tiny
- cheap headphones

Overall, a good buy

Best little radio, I've used. Good reception. Good volume.
It easy to operate. For those that wrote complaints that it was too easy to turn on by bumping the button, and then when you need it the batteries are dead. LOCK it. After draining a battery or 2. I learned to Lock it when I was done, that way there were no surprises when I needed it. I lock it when I'm working so I the station won't change accidentally, so I also lock it when I'm done.

I learned pretty quickly to operate it without looking.

I suppose the only complaint I have is that the headphones get pulled out periodically while working, and/or the belt clip gets bumped off (though it has been durable with many knocks and drops)

I'd give it 3 1/2 stars if I could

Sony Radio
works very well. I like the preset stations, and the battery is lasting just
fine, as long as it doesn't accidentally get turn on (the button is on the face).

The previous Walkman I owed lasted 10 years with no problems and this one is a better quality in every way. Quality in construction and sound is outstanding.

Great AM/FM/Weather and TV walkman
This walkman works great as most Sony products. It runs on 1 AAA battery for many hours. The sound quality is good and reception is great. The reception is comparable to a radio with a full antenna. I have used this unit for over a year and it is great. Even the headphones are very comfortable.
