Great radio!
My husband bought this for me for Christmas and I love it. It looks great in the kitchen and I use it every day. I was surprised to have both TV and weather stations as well. A very nice bonus! nice player Sound is good, but it could be better. It also skips easier than some, but overall-it's a nice player. Love having the extra space on my cabinet and having music in my kitchen when I'm cleaning and such. Sony Junk I purchased this gift for my wife for Christmas. After installation, it was found that the CD player did not work. So, I called the support line # in the Sony product box and at their direction sent it to them. This cost me $12 to send, in which they stated they would reimburse me upon return. About 4 weeks later, the product arrived. No reimbursement was enclosed. Before reinstalling, I tested the CD player. EXACT SAME PROBLEM- it did not work, it did not recognize tracks on any CD I tried. Shuffle would just continue on, never recognizing a track to play. SO, I called Sony. They stated I would need to return it again, but this time, they offered to mail me a prepaid label (WOW!). When I asked about my initial $12, I was told that they were sorry but could do nothing about it. I asked for a replacement sent to me first, as I have waited since Christmas to have a working product, but they said -sorry, must be checked again for repair. I then asked to speak to a supervisor, but was told that they are not available. After my experience with the Sony call centers, I believe they have outsourced this job to an overseas location and basically do not care. I have sent an email to the Sony Media group of my problems, but my expectation is no attempt will be made to satisfy the customer and provide a quality product. Sony usually makes good products, but if you have a problem with one, you can forget it-there is no customer service with them. They do not provide anything other than an 800 # to some offshore location to give you the runaround. I can no longer recommend buying any SONY product. My next step is the local BBB. great radio great radio for the money. has great sound small design for a good under the cabinet fit. it's only down fall is that it has no input jacks for a mp3 player Kitchen CD Player AM/FM Clock Radio I bought this for my husband for christmas. It was an ideal gift because I no longer had to keep his bulky stereo on my counter top.All the features work like a charm.We have trouble getting some radio stations where we live but this am/fm radio comes in great.The weather station is a bit low but still hearable.I just love this under the counter cd player with am/fm radio, tv band stations,and weather band stereo. My family and friends also love it and I would recommend anyone to buy it. Susan L. | |
