very cool
We gave this toy to our son on Christmas. He loves it and was able to figure it out quickly. The remote is easy to use. These robots do require a lot of battery power though.
Lot's of fun
I bought this for my 5 year old son and we are having a great time with this. His little sister and younger cousin like to watch it dance - they run around it in circles and clap to the music.
I thought that this would be too much for 5 year old to control but he has learned how to control it and can get it to do several tricks. Overall, this is a great product.

Unfortunately, Disappointed, Expected a different & Great toy!
After receiving the Robosapien (purchased in November) I had wrapped the gift for the Holidays and there was no way of testing this product prior.
Unfortunately, from great expectations the remote does not work, I am still working with the company to come to a resolution on receiving a replacement remote and have gone through a lot of communication, and two months later have not been able to use the toy.
Recommendation: If you plan on giving as a gift, it would be a good idea to open the toy and conduct a simple test to ensure no disappointment occurs.
