The Sony D-Ns707F S2 Sports ATRAC Walkman portable CD Player With Digital Tuner (AM/Fm/TV/Weather. When you think about it Sony has released some pretty good Walkmans. I give it some thumbs up because it has you weather on one fm and am. Most walkmans were the old kind. Just tapes remember those old days? This has a Portable Cd Player with Digital Tuner tell's you that this has some stuff going for you. And it has a good look. I mean look at the design on this thing. It's not to bad. I give it a 3-5 stars. Annoying Design This player is okay. The buttons and dispay are TINY. The diplay and radio tuner buttons are on a goofy plastic hand strap. It is a pain to program in presets. I have not tried a MP3 CD yet. I almost sent this back as soon as I saw it but, dont want to pay more shiping charges. More images would have been VERY helpful on this site. Very VERY good Walkman with a bad software Sound Quality is excellent, it feels very solid very firm, does not feel cheap at all. BUT!!! the software is terrible, it looks nice it's easy to use but it took me about 2 1/2 hours to copy 182 songs on a P4 2.8GHz, 640MB RAM, I mean come on! Media Player does the same job and it only takes a few minutes to convert to wma, so why does it take SonicStage so long to convert the songs to ATRAC3??? However once you take a nap and come back and finally get to listen to your songs... well... all I can say is: "I would definitely recommend this product to anyone", FM radio works fine sometimes you just have to walk around a bit or rotate the cd player a little bit to catch a good signal but, RADIO + CD PLAYER... woohoo! The clip headphones are awesome! The menu is easy to use. Hmmm I got my self a nice walkman! Walkman 5 STARS, CINCO, VIJF, FUNF! SonicStage Software 2 stars (and that's just because it looks cool) Nice player, but no remote - and a NON-REMOVABLE hand grip While it's seemingly a very good player, it's useless without a remote esp. if you plan to backpack it, weightlift or jog with it. The handle should be removable - I was going to unscrew it, but you can't since the radio and navigation is built into the handle. A good player overall, but the handle and lack of remote render this player wanting. Wait until the next release of new discmans if can if your deciding on this one.
