Great product
This is a great product. Very happy with it. Responds as well as a wired controller. A little larger than the wired version, but for me it fits in my hand better. Having a wireless controller is great. Purchased for a gift I gave this controller as a Christmas gift. I do not personally use it, however the recipient of this gift says he loves it... easy to use... no more wires... glad I got it :-) Button Lag I'd read some of the other reviews where the reviewer couldn't identify any button lag in this cordless controller. I've been using this model now for a couple of weeks, and I've tested it under several different types of game conditions, and I can say with certainty that there is a slight button lag. If you play games with a leisurely pace, like a role playing game, or something where precise button timing aren't important, then this controller is wonderful. The range and the signal dependability are very good. It also fits very well in the hands and doesn't slip thanks to the finish. But then I tested the controller on a game that has totally unforgiving button timing: Mega Man Anniversary Collection. That's right--there were actually parts of the game that I couldn't even do anymore because the jump and fire responses were just a fraction of a second slower than a corded controller. An old 8-bit platformer like that really highlights a controller's faults. So there is a lag, but if you play games where this isn't an issue, this controller will do you fine. Logitech Playstation 2 Cordless Action Controller This controller is great. No lag time. Great control during games, even very fine movements. Feels good in hand, nice weight and texture. Good battery usage, and auto shutoff is great for making them last even longer. Also, the controller has good range...my living room is large and I don't have any problems from about 20 feet away from the console. No complaints! Just great I bought a couple of these about a year ago and as far as I'm concerned, they're pretty much ideal. I though it was a good idea to buy a set of four duracel rechargable batteries with a charger for my controllers... but they really don't eat up batteries very fast anyway. | |
