So far so good.
This has been a great product and so far no problems with it. We use it in our RV and I have no complaints about it at all. It can fit open on our table so we can cook or keep things warm on it as we eat. When open it is an even surface and has been very good cooking both as an open griddle and closed like a griller. The plates snap off and on easily - very nice! Just make sure to put the top plates on the top (as marked) and the bottoms on the bottom. We have had good success with steaks, burgers, bacon, waffles being cooked on it so far. It has performed well and I feel it does it well. We have always hand washed the plates and there is no degradation of the non-stick material at all. I even took it to work for a month and least ten different people used it daily without issue. My only complaint is the printing on the controls. We cooked turkey burgers right after buying it and the grease erased the lettering. If this unit failed now, I would buy another. The best pinini maker I've been searching for THE pinini maker for several years, online and on the shopping channels. I found the Cuisinart GR-4 Griddler for a great price, as usual, at Amazon.com. It makes perfect pinini's. We even did breakfast sandwiches and plan to do cinnamon sugar with bananas, peanut butter with fluff and maybe some pie fillings for desserts a la mode! Wonderful product. Run, do not walk to order yours! Cuisinart Griddler I've had the product only for a few weeks. Seems OK so far, have done chicken, steaks, grilled cheese, etc. For steaks you really need to get the griddles hot, so full HIGH for each side. Cleanup is a breeze. Very satisfied so far. | |
