This power adapter means I don't always have to take my laptop when I travel -- my iPod Mini is chargeable on the road. The adapter also works better with the iPod Shuffle than the USB ports on many computers, which have a ridge that makes plugging in a Shuffle difficult. My only complaint is that I have to move the Mini's charger cord back and forth between my computer and the power adapter; seems like they could have thrown in an extra one. Does what it's supposed to do! Apple designs excellent accessories for it's products. This a/c adaptor does a great job of charging iPods. The only problem is spending $30 for something that realistically should cost about $15. But, then, Amazon sellis it for $30 and Best Buy and Target sell it for $40! So, comparitively, this is a bargain! What is wrong with Apple? I bought an ipod video and could not believe it did not come with a charger. I looked and looked inside the box thinking that I missed it, but unfortunately, I did not miss it, it was not there. There are certain things that do not make sense. Apple selling an ipod without a charger is one of them. What is next, a Mac Book Pro without a hardrive because you can connect it to one of your external USB hard drives? Come on Apple, you can do better than this! Very expensive The only thing I can say about this Power Adapter is that it is necessary but very, very expensive. Erased my iPod mini tunes! We travel alot, so this seemed like a good purchase idea. We charged our iPod mini's and that was easy enough, but then we realized it erased our music and audiobooks. We tried to reconnect at home on our computers, and the library would no longer export to the minis! It's bad enough the music and all was erased while we were on the road, but then not to be able to put it back on is adding insult to injury. We use Windows Home XP, maybe there's an issue there, but in any case, it's a major hassle and not worth the purchase price. We're sending it back. | |
