Very Good For the Price
I bought it like two weeks ago, and work's marvelous, the only problem that i see is that the buttons must be on the other side of the item in order to get the headphone jack connected at right hand.
exelent Mp3 player
I bought this mp3 player since last december and it has worked out great. I havn't lost it, The features were perfect. It's only had a few problems since then. First of all, at the late summer, the on/off/play button caved in. It still worked but it was slightly harder to press afterward. Second, when I first bought the mp3 player, it came with earphones that were for, well, a giant. It didn't fit anyone i knew or me. Just recently (october) the audio/ headphone jack made it so my headphones would always play on the left side but would flicker on the right. I checked the headphones on other players and they worked fine. when i listened i would have to hold down the headphones ,and to the side to get both sides of the audio. I had a buddy of mine in one of my classes who used the same mp3 player as me and had the same problems. He wrote a letter to sandisk and sent his mp3 player and it was completely covered by the 1- year warrenty. I used this mp3 player almost every day and dropped it quite frequently. The battery life suprised me , although i listened to it 2-4 hours a day and I eventually just bought rechargeable batteries. Besides that my mp3 player has works suprisingly well. It is a very good deal for the price and all the features .I recomend it to anyone that only listens to about 70 songs, but enjoys music. personally i'd rate it about a 4.5 because it has outlasted all my friend's different mp3 players. (besides ipod)
Good player but with some small problems.
I just bought one player recently. I like it and keep using it almost whenever I am free. I chose this player because of two reasons:
a. The manufacture is the one I trust.
b. FM radio receiver is accompanying with this MP3 player.
The main strengths of this player include: The mp3 sounds very nicely; the radio receiver is not bad in my area (even better than my previous pocket FM receviers); the voice recorder is fair.
It can set the display language and FM region (Several big languages are supported, including eastern Asian). If you are listening to mp3 from other languages, its information can be shown correctly on the LCD. When you are travelling to other countries, you can use their local FM frequencies. (If you can understand the languages there, this will be a cool feature.)
The manual is very clear and in details. If you are patient enough to read through it, it will save you a lot of time.
The main two weakness (or something I cannot figure out correctly) are:
a. My Version 2 player cannot delete a file from the player. You can only delete it from the PC. (Customer service told me it could be done for Ver 1 player. This is very strange. Version 2 doesn't possess the "good" feature of version 1.)
b. The files are sorted not in order: I have several files: ***031.mp3, ***032.mp3, ***033.mp3, ***034.mp3. In the player, it becomes ***031.mp3, ***034.mp3, ***032.mp3, ***033.mp3. I don't understand why this can happen. Any other information can decide the order?
Other feature I prefer but the player doesn't have is to record some radio station shows. The player can record outside voice, it shouldn't be too difficult to realize this feature.
very compact
The keys are a little hard to use but otherwise pretty good product.
Excellent quality for an inexpensive MP3 player!
For a while, I've had an impulse to buy myself an MP3 player. Considering the fact that iPods are so expensive, I was forced to compromise on buying a cheaper MP3 player that uses flash memory instead of a hard drive. Personally, I think this is an excellent choice, since it features a screen with pretty good resolution, a built-in tuner with an internal antennae, and a voice recorder with fairly good sound quality. I've found it difficult to open the battery cover and was worried that I would break it until I figured out that I can easily open it by inserting my fingernail between it and the unit. Also, since I can decrease the kbps rate of the songs I downloaded onto it so they take up less space, I set them to 96 kbps and noticed no significant decrease in sound quality. Overall, I think this is an excellent alternative to an expensive iPod.
