Perfect Lid
Too bad the original pans did not come with a lid, but this is the PERFECT fit. And, you can even see what you are cooking!
I. Love. This. Lid.
It's a bit strange to be going off on how great a LID is. But if there ever was an occasion, this is it. I had somehow collected 3 10" Calphalon skillets; none of them came with a lid. I registered for the 10" lid from Target, but they stopped carrying it, so I ended up buy this one online, despite the $25 price tag. It was worth every cent.
Great things about it: It's really heavy, so steam doesn't push it off. The beveled edge means it fits most pots around 10". The handle is metal, but doesn't get hot!
OK, so that's only three things. But really, what more is there to say about a LID... ? I really recommend this one.
expensive, but fits
This lid is different from the Calphalon lid offered at Target, and more expensive too. This one has a bevelled edge, and will fit pans with an inside diameter from 9 1/2 inches to 10 1/2 inches. I bought it for the "Calphalon Commercial Nonstick 10-Inch International Griddle/Crepe Pan", which has a 9 3/4 inch inside diameter. This lid might work for you if your "antique" Calphalon lid is too big, as was the case for me.
