Great Item
I am enjoying my new black iPod Nano a great deal, and I wish I'd been able to get one before now. The sound quality is excellent, and the iPod itself is relatively easy to use. I have a little difficulty reading the screen because my vision is poor. However, I am usually able to make out the menu items even without glasses, and the click wheel is very easy to use. My husband and I had some difficulty with using iTunes. We didn't know that we needed to create separate playlists for the two of us, so all of my song choices were also copying onto his iPod when he would update it. We have pretty much decided to look for a Dummies book on iPod use so we can have a clearer idea of how to use iTunes and how to transfer songs from CD to the iPod. Overall, however, this is an excellent product. Be Careful I recently ordered a silver 4GB for myself and a black 4GB for my husband. The silver one has the new case which is much sleeker, lighter, and has curved sides. The black one is in the old "body style". I think Apple must have had a bunch of these laying around and decided to use them for the supposed new generation. Since silver is a new color, this was not an issue. Worst MP3 player out there Pros: Good-Looking Con: The entire IPod I have never owned an ipod, and i still know just by the specs that they are horrible. You can only use files that you have paid for and downloaded from itunes. Period. This would still be ridiculus even if Itunes was a decent program. People give good reviews for these ipods simply because they havent tried anything else, because the ipod is so popular. Every part of the ipod is terrible and i would reccomend any 20 dollar MP3 player over it. I doubt you'll listen to me as there are so many other good reviews out here, and youll probably be very pleased with it until you see another non-Apple MP3 player in action. not user friendly after receiving my ipod i connected it to my laptop and it says dont disconnect. after a while i removed the ipod and try to switch on, it displays a folder icon and an apple website link. i installed itunes and still the same problem. after around few hours i found that the software on my ipod is old version and need to upgrade. after upgrade it worked fine. pros: Good design, sleek click wheel photos looks good cons: - can be controlled only through itunes, difficult to navigate/transfer files without itunes (this is not good, u should have itunes installed on u r PC). it changes file names. - finger prints prone, need to clean every time u touch it - dosent comes with charging, sample files - user manual is not in detail. no information on initial charging etc A classic Yes, it's shiny, and may show scratches, but this is not an object you throw around? right? I love this version, and I've bought 3 others as gifts. I prefer this one so it will fit into the iMac extreme/neoprene sleeve. The one you can wear on your arm or wrist during workouts. I was worried the 2nd generation version was too thin to stay in the armband. | |
