Worked for awhile
I bought this product 2 years ago and I was very disappointed. The charger stopped working after 1 year and the sound system was very distorted whenever I used the ipod. Loved it until.... I LOVED my ihome before one day it just stopped working. I've had it for almost 2 years when I noticed that the remote control wouldn't work. Upon further inspection I found the radio was also no longer working. And with my ipod plugged in, none of the controls built in worked so I had to control the music via the ipod itself. So basically now it functions just as a clock....boo!!! pretty expensive clock!!! looking into other options now... A great hit for a birthday Got this for my granddaughter for her birthday. She absolutely loved it and it was a great value for the price. I would definitely recommend this item. Great Product!! Great ipod player...sounds is great and price is good. We have three of them...... Doesn't work well for this US Army guy! I got this as a Christmas present in 06 from my wife and thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. A lot of people bash the "too bright" LCD for night feature. I personally like it on the 2 setting. I have a thing about waking up in the middle of the night and I have to know what time it is. Well this unit definatly lets you know what time it is. The functions for the Ipod work well and keeps my Ipod charged. Here are my gripes about this unit after I've used it for 9 months. 1. I'm in the Army and every day I wake up at differant times. The spin wheel it uses to set the alarm has worn off after 9 months of use and now it takes about 10 minutes of spinning the wheel to change the alarm time either forward an hour or back an hour. 2. My Ipod has to be shoved onto the mounting bracket before the Ipod recognises that it's being charged or to play. Then I have to keep a book behind it to prop it into a specific position so it doesn't disengage. I know that these are only 2 little gripes, but both of them defeat the whole purpose of why I liked this item in the first place. It's basically useless now after 1 year of use! | |
