Pretty good stuff
This is a really nice hassle-free basic rice cooker. I got it about a month back and have been using it everyday. Somethings about the cooker: 1. Ease of use: very easy to use. Calibrations for water measures inside the rice cooker are spot on. No need for any improvisation. 2. Cleaning: very easy to clean as its non stick and rice doesnt stick to the bottom, unlike other cheaper cookers. 3. versatility: have cooked two very different types of rice in this and it manages both with panache. 4. quality of rice output: very good, fluffy rice. Manages to cook even the starchiest ones properly (though you would need to clean those a little more than others) 5. wish list: wish this had a steam basket. I highly recommend this one as its value for money at $20. Compact cooker Compact, easy-to-use rice cooker (but NO steamer basket) is inexpensive but does its job in a straightforward way. Good for 2-3 people. Fast, easy, rice that tastes good This is my first rice cooker and Im glad I bought it. Makes rice quick and easy and it comes out great. For single guys like me that dont like to cook, you can buy rice-a-roni and make it in this steamer!!! pour the rice in, mix the spices (while dry), and then add water up to the number 2 line. Wait about 35-45 minutes and you got great rice. Easy clean up, no hassle, set it and forget it. Too small and too flimsy We returned this product because it is too small and the bowl is thin and flimsy Sweet & Simple If you're looking for a cheap and easy to use rice cooker look no further. I purchased this rice cooker on sale for somewhere between $15 and $20, and wasn't sure what I'd be getting, but it has exceeded my expectations. It's small, easy to store and clean, and makes enough rice for about two people. I'm not a huge connoisseur or rice, so I'm not sure how it stacks up against the $100+ versions, but I've always been happy with its speed, and the quality of rice it produces. It's the perfect little machine for the "casual" rice cooker who doesn't want to spend a fortune. Overall, it is a very good product at an even better price. | |
