Love it! It keeps my husband busy and I get time to do stuff I want to do!! MY SON THINKS IT IS THE GREATEST Great game. My son loves his Nintendo DS Lite. He plays it non-stop. Especially the Nintendogs game. I couldn't find it anywhere in the stores before Christmas, ordered it from Amazon - didn't have to face the crowds or traffic and had it delivered right to my door! Oh, and I didn't have to pay sales tax and the shipping was only $4!! And mom's gift was being a hero for Christmas! PRICELESS!! Happy , but not Happy The game I ordered went to a granddaughter for a late Christmas present. So as the result I did not play the game, however I seem to have recieved and was charged for two games when I only wanted one. I did send the second game back without opening it. Hope everything goes smoothly in thereturn process. Thank you, Carroll Tenney Super Fun I bought the Nintendo DS for my 11 year old daughter for Christmas. We have never owned any video games (handheld or otherwise). She saw the advertisement for the DS and the game Nintendogs and she really wanted this game. I had intended to buy the Nintendo DS lite, but in trying to do everything, I purchased the original DS. I didn't think the DS lite pink looked like a pretty pink (and later my daughter confirmed she wouldn't have liked the pink) and I thought the white and black were boring, so I wanted to get her the blue, which is why I didn't realize it was not the DS lite. It is still very compact and slim, easy to carry around (we did buy a case for it)and fun. Because she was getting this for Christmas, family members bought her quite a few games so she is fully loaded with games. I just wish there were more educational games available. My daughter really loves her Nintendo DS and has a friend that has one so they play them together (some of the games you can somehow interact with the other player...I don't understand it, but she has figured it out and has a ball with it and her friend). Her favorite game seems to be the Animal Crossings game instead of the Nintendogs based on what she is playing most of the time, but she likes them both. Some of the other games she receieved I don't know if she has even tried them. One of the features of this unit that I did not even realize when I purchased it is it can play Nintendo DS games and Gameboy games (I don't know much about the gameboy system at all, but I do know it will play the Gameboy Advanced games). This does widen the choice of games you can buy. Fun for the family My family had lots of fun with this. They can also play othere games on it. | |
