Cuisinart Coffeemaker Review
I am extremely pleased with the red Cuisinart coffeemaker, so much so that I subsequently ordered the red Cuisinart toaster, expecting it would match. To my extreme disappointment on 10/15/08, the bright orange-red toaster arrived and does not match the dark red coffeemaker. The toaster is in the process of being returned. Why not make the appliances matching?

FABULOUS COFFEEMAKER
Despite the negatives that have been expressed about this coffeemaker, this model is a great coffeemaker. I read all the reviews about it before I bought it and AGONIZED over all the negative points. Let's face it...coffeemaker purchases can be an intense experience. Since I was going to buy this from a local store, I figured the worst that could happen if I bought and didn't like it was that I would have to take it back.

Much to my relief and delight the negatives, which I admit add to not making this the all time best coffeemaker ever, were so small that they don't create any problems for me.

It brews quickly and the coffee comes out HOT! A four hour timer is essential for me. The sound it makes when it is done brewing is, in my opinion, not loud and obnoxious. Perhaps if you lived in a small apartment it might wake you up the first couple of times it goes off, but I think that after a while you would stop hearing it.

For my tastes, this coffeemaker is fantastic!

Cuisinart Coffee Maker - Perfect
My new Cuisinart 12-cup coffee maker is perfect. I had purchased a Kitchen Aid 12-cup previously, and it malfunctioned in less than a week. I was very happy to find a good price on Amazon.com plus free shipping for the Cuisinart, and it is red, too! I wouldn't change a thing.

I wanted to get this coffeemaker for two reasons. One the color... red. Second... the fact that it has a water filter. We have well water and need another filter on the coffee maker. We got one that did not have one and the coffee was awful! This Cuisinart coffee maker has met our expectations indeed.
