What Others Say
Good but not great
I found it disappointing. It wasn't what I expected. It's not a total wastes it just did not meet my standards. Thought it would tell or guide me on how to start my home base travel business.
A Good Overview
I thought Careers in Travel, Tourism, And Hospitality, Second ed. (Careers in Series) provided a good overview of different jobs available in the travel industry. It is a bit dry and is merely an overview. Don't expect any in-depth information. I think it would be a great starting place for someone who thinks maybe they'd enjoy the travel industry, but isn't sure what it's all about. Rather than something for those contemplating a career change, it seemed geared towards a younger crowd with many references to those just graduating high school.
