Product Description
Fledgling vampyre Zoey Redbird has managed to settle in at the House of Night.  She’s come to terms with the vast powers the vampyre goddess, Nyx, has given her, and is getting a handle on being the new Leader of the Dark Daughters. Best of all, Zoey finally feels like she belongs--like she really fits in. She actually has a boyfriend…or two. Then the unthinkable happens: Human teenagers are being killed, and all the evidence points to the House of Night. While danger stalks the humans from Zoey’s old life, she begins to realize that the very powers that make her so unique might also threaten those she loves. Then, when she needs her new friends the most, death strikes the House of Night, and Zoey must find the courage to face a betrayal that could break her heart, her soul, and jeopardize the very fabric of her world.

What Others Say

If a better book has ever been written, I've yet to hear about.
Betrayed (House of Night, Book 2) is amazing. By making vampires an actual part of society was really putting it out there. The incorporation of wicken religion was incredible. If I have one complaint it's that Hunted isn't out yet. I CAN'T WAIT 'TILL MARCH!!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!! Anyway, great book. Divine series. Twilight can go to Hell. *_*

Downhill...
I really liked the first book in the series "Marked" that I borrowed from a friend. I liked how open and optimistic the ending was.
I picked up Betrayed (House of Night, Book 2) from the library two days later, and was really disappointed. The main character Zoey went from being a great, independent main character to a selfish, whore that was never satisfied with any situation. I hope the next book doesn't further de-volve her because I'm really starting to hate her.

Great series!!
Betrayed (House of Night, Book 2) starts up immediately where "Marked" left off: Zoey is settling into life as a vampire fledgling, surrounded by her newfound friends at the House of Night. She has proven herself a worthwhile student in the goddess, Nyx's, eyes and has been marked with a unique design across her forehead - something that has never been done to anyone - vampire or fledgling. Not only does Zoey have to take the responsibility as the leader of the Dark Daughters - she has a blooming relationship with Erik Night evolving, an imprint with her ex-human boyfriend - not to mention teens around town are being killed which all signs point to the vampirs and the House of Night as the culprits. It's easy to get caught up in Zoey's world; I really enjoy this ... Read More

easy read
great book for an easy entertaining read, now I am looking forward to more :)

Exciting
Betrayed (House of Night, Book 2) was delicious... I really like the second part to Marked. I wasnt as crazy about the ending but I'm hoping in book 3 that it will make sense.
