Editorial Review:

Product DescriptionIn his 14th book, bestselling author Nicholas Sparks tells the unforgettable story of a man whose brushes with death lead him to the love of his life.

Is there really such thing as a lucky charm? The hero of Nicholas Sparks's new novel believes he's found one in the form of a photograph of a smiling woman he's never met, but who he comes to believe holds the key to his destiny. The chain of events that leads to him possessing the photograph and finding the woman pictured in it is the stuff of love stories only a master such as Sparks can write.

What Others Say

Good for a plane trip
Great book until about the last 10 pages. The climax does not meet the tension that was built through out the book. Other than that, I'd say is a good book to read on a plane or a lazy Sunday afternoon.

The Lucky One
Great book as always by N. Sparks. His novels always make reading so wonderful.

Another Great One!
The Lucky One was great! I have passed it on to my reading friends and they are all loving it too. It would make a great movie!

AWESOME!!!!!!!
I absolutely love every book that Nicholas Sparks has ever written. Although I cannot say this is his best because I love them all the same. I will be reading The Lucky One over and over!!! You can't go wrong with a Nicholas Sparks Novel.

Not Lucky for Me
I could not wait to read "The Lucky One". I bought it as soon as it was released. The premise of the book was an interesting idea, but the book fell flat except for the last 8 pages. I kept thinking I was missing something, but my sister read it with the same exact sentiment. My favorites are still "A Walk to Remember" "The Rescue" and "The Notebook". Not one book he has written since has come close. The Lucky One was plain boring and seemed rushed and amateurish in the writing. Nicholas Sparks has talent just not in this not so Lucky One!
