Very Thorough
Modern Recording Techniques provides a thorough breakdown of techniques and procedures commonly used in today's recording environments. I haven't fully investigated the contents of the book, but everything I have come across so far has been very good material. Lots of information in here. Used Modern Recording Techniques for one of my classes in school.
