Imitate Starbucks from the comfort of your own home
I am a novice coffee drinker and was looking for a way imitate Starbucks' lattes. This milk frother makes excellent foam, which tastes even better knowing I don't need a $1,300 espresso machine to do the same trick. I've been using 1% milk and a microwave to heat it before frothing.
BonJour Caffe Frother
Very disappointed in BonJour Caffe Froth Monet, Black. The glass cylinder broke after about two weeks of use. The frothing unit did not slide easily in the cylinder. This was my second frother. The first was a Black and Decker, which lasted several years. Now I need instructions on how to order another glass cylinder.
In comparison, the BonJour Primo Latte Milk Frother does not work so don't waste your money with that one.
MILK FROTHER
Very good product, make sure to use low fat milk. 1% works just well for me.
A lot of fun
The Aerolatte was my first attempt at a home frother. I found that it worked erratically, but was useful enough. A friend recommended I try the BonJour.
The Caffee Froth requires no batteries, produces dependable froth, and is fun to use. It took me about three tries to get my technique down (no need to pump vigorously, leave room for expansion when you microwave the froth), but then it became my frother of choice. I enjoy using it, and find myself finding new uses for frothed milk.
