Excellent!
I've purchased Braun WK200W Aqua Express Electric Water Kettle - White in the past and always was very happy with it. Highly recommend it to all!
Heats rapidly, feels solid, worth the price
This does heat up rapidly, as most reviewers concur. It holds up to seven cups, and even at full capacity boils up faster than earlier machines I used took to heat less than half this amount of water. You can fill it with the lid shut as well as open, a thoughtful feature. The lid can also be locked, of course. It's a bit heavy when there's more than a couple of cups worth of water in it, but it's solid and feels durable.
I like the separation of the base from the water container. There's less exposure to contact points that can get wet than some other models. Braun WK200W Aqua Express Electric Water Kettle - White
This electric kettle is very simple to use. It works great!
No one should be without one of these
Exiled here in the US (out of our own choice) we lamented that fact that people boiled water in a saucepan! What is a kettle? our American friends would say! Target was the first place we saw a Phillips kettle and then they just seemed to disappear. Amazon to the rescue and a Braun at that! The price can shoot up to $69.99 sometimes, but I've been lucky enough to get them when they've been at $29.99. That's when I get 2. The wonderful thing is that you pay no tax and no shipping, and if you have Prime then you get them in 2 days max. So if you don't have one of these, try it; you'll never boil water in a saucepan again :)
Buy it!
I have this kettle for a year now. I don't know why but it just seems so much easier to walk over to my counter press a button and have boiling water in minutes. I keep it on my counter so it is always ready when I need it. Easy clean up too. Also you can boil up your water and then walk over to your table and put the pot down. You can't do that with a stove kettle!
