I won't go on and on about this because it appears everyone has, so just let me say YES! I use this almost every day, it's just the best kitchen appliance I have. More than anything I use the chopper and the whisk.
What is best to me about Braun MR5550CA Multiquick Professional Hand Blender, White is 1) it is variable speed PLUS power burst (not just high and low), and 2) the parts detach in a way that they can be safely washed. I can't imagine that anyone would be sorry they purchased this.
