Solid, well-designed, heavy-gauge stainless steel, a lid that fits any (8-10-12") pan. This is an excellent product that exceeded my expectations. Not only for Faberware pans. I bought 8" and 10" lids for a Circulon non-stick skillet and a Macys stainless steel skillet, and both fit perfectly. Use them for my 2 cast iron skillets also. My only wish is that they'd make a 6" lid in this line too!

I looked quite awhile to find this lid, thanks Amazon! Previously the only 8" lid I found was very heavy tempered glass with an overly small handle that got very hot. This lid is great, fits well, easy to use, clean and store, and best of all, LIGHT WEIGHT!

I purchased this as a lid for my 8" fry pan that did not come with a lid in my cookware set by farberware. Just right. Good price.

I have farberware cookware but no lid for the 8 inch saute pan.I was unable to find any 8 inch lid in the local stores so looked in Amazon and found just what I needed. I am very pleased with it and use it on my crockpot nas well as the saute pan.
