I tried Memorex CD/DVD-Player Laser-Lens Cleaner on two DVD players. It seemed like it was working from the audio portion of the program. I was unable to get the associated video portion to work on screen. It was unable to clean the DVD players for them to work.
Not Mac compatible
I bought this to clean the laser on my MacBook Pro, which had been struggling to read certain discs. The laptop couldn't mount this disc and just spits it out. I tried it in two other devices, a desktop computer and a Sony DVD player, and it was rejected by both of them too.
Excellent DVD Cleaner!!
I have a Sony DVD player that is a few years old. I also belong to one of those movies by mail companies. Although I would clean each DVD when it came, more often than not my DVD player wouldn't play the DVD. I could take it in on my computer and play it with little or no problem, but that's not nearly as comfortable as stretching out on the couch. I was going to either end my membership in the rental place, or purchase a new DVD player. As a last resort, I purchased this cleaner and it worked exactly like the directions said. I have had no problems with any DVD that I've rented since then. I would highly recommend this to anyone with problems.
Couldn't be better.
The service was perfect. The product performed as advertised. I bought the cleaning disk to find out if I needed to buy a new DVD player. The disk cleaned the laser head so well that I don't have to replace it. Just as I had hoped.

I recently bought a 14 year-old car and the cd player had trouble skipping from track to track and would sometimes think it had a CD in the player when it did not and would switch from the radio to CD randomly. After using Memorex CD/DVD-Player Laser-Lens Cleaner, it's worked flawlessly.
