Some Hits, but mostly misses
This pan is heavy and well made. The non-stick surface seems like a quality finish. However, I am disappointed with it. It is 8-l/2" wide from top rim to rim. But it is only about 6" wide on the usable suface bottom. The way it is designed gives very little actual cooking space, unless you expect the sides to do a lot of your cooking. Buy it for it's good looks and quality workmanship, but not for a versatile cooking instrument.

Professional quality skillet that is not too heavy and perfectly balanced in weight. Would recommend to all who want a great skillet.

I am really happy with the purchase. First of all, it was for a great price... the product is great.... no oil is necessary, cleaning is really easy... great to make frittata coz goes straight to the oven from the stove... i love KitchenAid Gourmet Essentials Hard Anodized Nonstick 8-Inch Open French Skillet... its beautiful
