LOVE IT
This is a great little vac! I have a golden retriever and this is a life saver for me! Easy to take upstairs for other little jobs.
Picks up dog hair quickly...threw away the broom and dust pan.
I highly recommend to anyone with children, pets, hardwood floors. Our main floor is mostly hardwood so I use it several times a day and I can't say enough about it!
The reason for 4 stars... cord is a little short for my rooms and I am having a hard time finding filters.
Leave the heavy vacuum in the closet
This lightweight vacuum for hardsurfaces is great for a fast pick up When you don't want to haul out the heavyweight guy. The disposal cup is large enough and easy to empty and reinstall on the vacuum. I like the fact that you can also use it as a hand vac.
One Major Problem
I thought Bissell 3106A Featherweight Lightweight Vacuum had a nice feature set and it would have if it didn't have one major flaw. It leaks! The casing around the filter isn't properly manufactured (that's basic development!) and therefore dirt and dust leak out of it. I wouldn't recommend Bissell 3106A Featherweight Lightweight Vacuum as there are other comparable products out there that do the same thing.
Excellent for Crumbs and Toenails
Just what we wanted for quick pick-ups. (We are using a little hand-push Bissell for fluff on carpets and a VERY powerful & heavy Panasonic tank for broad areas.) This is so slender and neat it can be left in a corner of the kitchen. So light it can be taken anywhere easily.
Price is great for an intermittent-use appliance. Shipping prompt.
Great lightweight vacuum for hardwood or tile
This vacuum is very lightweight and great for use on any non-carpeted area. It is so much easier to use than dragging out a large vacuum. As expected, it does not work very well on carpet.
