couldn't be happier
This is the third pan i've purchased from this line. Once again, very happy with the beauty, quality of construction, even heat distribution and responsiveness, and ease of cleanup. Cybernox is a stainless steel alloy developed by the French military for the nose cones of rockets because it gets slippery when hot. It is the pan, not a coating, nothing to flake/wear off.
The semi non-stickiness is very satisfactory provided that the pan is preheated and seasoned (you cook something with oil in it now and then. If your goal is to cook fat free, better get something else. As my 2 year old and I love to share a grilled cheese now and then - with butter yummy- the pans remain virtually non-stick.
My favorite pan
I have owned this pan for several years. It is the most versitile pan I own, second only to the casserole pan in this same product line. In addition, I have two other pans from this line. I am adding one pan each year and wouldn't think of ever buying a teflon coated pan ever again. On the rare occasion I burn something, seldom do I need a brillo pad even for the worst disasters...being able to use a brillo if I need it is great tho! In otherwords, it is stick resistant NOT nonstick!
