Great Value - High Quality
I recently purchased my Anolon Commercial Clad roaster and I am thrilled. This piece of cookware is beautifully finished and has the look, feel, and function of that other famous Cladded pan maker All-Clad, except, it's half the price, and is actually cladded unlike their roaster. Compared to the Calphalon Tri-Ply roaster, the Anolon is thicker, heavier, and seems generally sturdier. Additionally, the finish seems better.
The rest of my cookware is All-Clad, which I love by the way. The reason I didn't buy the All-Clad Roti roaster is because of reports by many (included Cooks Illustrated), that the pan warps with placed on a burner to deglaze for gravy making. In the world of non-stick, this is a dud
We got this pan for our wedding and chose it over another roasting pan that used Teflon. In both uses (and I acknowledge the small test sample), fat and other droppings stuck to the pan like any other regular roasting pan. So in short, why waste your money?
