Breakfast fun
I selected this as a housewarming gift for a young couple. I am told they use it every weekend for the "best ever" waffles. They dress the waffles up with berries and whipped cream, syrup and butter, or just plain with confectioners' sugar. They particularly like the compact nature of the product as they have a tiny kitchen.

After spending hours reading the reviews of this waffle maker and all the others listed on Amazon, we decided this might be the one for us. GREAT DECISION! It makes the best waffles so quickly! Everything you read is correct. You only need to treat it the first time with cooking spray or oil and then NEVER again! Clean-up is quick and easy! It makes delicious, crispy Belgian waffles in a flash! I am so glad this Chef's Choice waffle iron was our choice!
The best waffle maker ever - don't pay more, really, get this one
Bought this waffle maker after tons of research for a more traditional-style round waffle maker, and I have to say that it is by far one of the best purchases I've ever made. Though the Chef's Choice 830B is advertised as a Belgian waffle maker, in my opinion, the waffle it produces is far more of a "fatter", more traditional-style round waffle, so if you're specifically looking for a Belgian waffle maker, this one probably won't do it for you. That said, all the positive/rave reviews that you've read so far are totally right on the money. Not a Belgian Waffle
When I think of Belgian waffles, I thnk of very deep pockets like what is served in restaurants. This is not it -- it is nothing more than an ordinary waffle maker. For those of you who have kids, be careful because the lid is extremely hot as I almost burned myself thinking it would have a cool touch lid. The nice feature about this waffle maker is that it lets you know by beeping that the iron is ready to put in the mixture and also beeps when the waffle is done. This waffle iron overall was a disappointment to me and will be sending it back.
Easy to use Waffle maker
This unit is a well made, easy to use and very easy to clean waffle maker. The machine has an adjustable heating unit that thoroughly cooks waffles to your liking. The price was fair and the unit delivers all the advertising promises.
