Amazon.com ReviewThere simply is no tableware design more fun or colorful than Villeroy & Boch's Twist Alea pattern. Lively pinks, blues, and oranges in checked-mosaic formation make this Twist Alea teakettle too bright and cheery to shelve. A lemon body with two-tone accent dots is broken up horizontally with a pale green stripe and white bordering that melds with the handle and spout. The cheerful, color-palette checks make stunning bordering for the base and lid, and evoke a playfulness that livens up any kitchen or dining table. Made of vitrified porcelain for strength and durability, this teakettle is both dishwasher- and microwave- safe.
Choices abound in the pizzazzy Twist series, including lemon shades in the zesty Twist Limone pattern, or a celery hue in the Twist Verde variation. Purists might opt for the toned-down Twist Caro, a mosaic trim on white. A full complement of serving and decorative accessories is available as well. --Brian Olson

Pretty but sloppy teakettle
I purchased this teakettle quite a while ago. When I got it, I loved the look of it and thought it looked great sitting on my stove. However, I am a serious tea drinker and this pot slops water all over the counter when you try to fill your tea cup or pot. The delight I felt over its appearance is now tempered by the reality of its faulty spout. Best for those who will only rarely use it.
great tea kettle
I have all the Twist Alea and this tea kettle is not only beautiful, but, very functional. I use it every day and it still looks good. I love it! I love the Twist Alea line. It is so bright and beautiful. Goes well with the New Wave pattern also.
Love it!
This tea kettle matches my Twist Alea dishes so perfectly. It is so bright and cheery it stays on my stove all the time. The whistle sounds a little different but I still love it anyway.
Unexpected!
Wow! This tea kettle surprised me. It is of unusally high quality. Very well designed, durable, solidly built. Don't pass on this item, exceptional value for your $$$$$. As for the pattern, .......... well what is there not to like about Villeroy & Boch generally, and the Twist pattern specifically? A winner!
