Excellent stoneware - but Made in China now, not USA
I have owned Pfaltzgraff stoneware in several patterns and must say that Winterberry is my very favorite. This is the perfect dinnerware for all occasions during the Winter season. I recently added this rectangular baker to my collection and am very pleased with it. One of the wonderful things about the stoneware is that you can bake and serve in the same dish. This is a tremendous advantage during busy holidays. Although this baker is somewhat smaller than a Pyrex baker it still has a multitude of uses both for everyday casseroles and bring-a-dish sides that you may want to share. Size Matters. . .
This dish, while very pretty, is not as big as I thought it would be. I thought it would be the same size as a standard Pyrex oblong baking dish, and it's quite a bit smaller. I'm going to keep it, but it will not be as useful as I'd hoped.
