The only way to go
If you make lefse, this is the grill to use. I should actually just stop my review right here, because there's really nothing more to say. I will mention that there is now a teflon grill out, but the old fashioned Norwegian in me can't imagine how you would get perfect brown spotting on your lefse with teflon. If you have made your dough properly, sticking is not usually a problem. Its loaded with butter!! The controls are easy to use, and out of the way. Customer service with this company is great. My lefse grill is holding up after 20 years, but my mom did need some work done on hers and they are communicative and helpful. Fixed it right up! Don't be afraid, this is not rocket science. Fast and convenient cooking
I bought this grill to make lefse but so far I have only used it for tortillas and pancakes. It works wonderfully and cooks 4 -5 pancakes or tortillas at a time. I can cook them in less than half the time it took using a skillet on the stove. It has been easy to clean too. Now I all I need to do is find the time to make lefse!
