solid build
The hinge area which is the most prone to break in these type of products seem sturdy enough to stand up to continual use. The juicer works well if you follow the fool proof directions and don't try to use it for fruits it wasn't meant to be used for.

I have had great luck with Norpro Stainless-Steel Citrus Juice Press -- easily broke two plastic ones previously and I was discouraged. This item is very sturdy and has not shown any signs of bending or breaking despite my best squeezing efforts. Highly recommended...
Citrus Lover
I first used a citrus press like this at one of those places where you prepare meals in advance and then take them home to freeze and serve later. I was impressed with it but thought it was available only to restaurants. I happened to see this online and ordered it on the spot. I love it and use it nearly every day. I use a lot of lemon and lime juice and this baby will get every drop out of the fruit with little fuss or mess. I have arthritis in my hands so I was worried that the squeezing motion might be too hard for me, but I have no trouble at all. Fabulous product!
After having used and broken more than one lemon press, I feel entirely confident that such a fate will not befall the Norpro press. This puppy gets it done! I am very, very impressed with the ease of use (squeezes out every last drop) and the ease of cleaning (just pop in the dishwasher, comes out gleaming). I cannot recommend this press enough. It's the one.
does a good job
This press did a good job. I do wish the bowl was bigger so it would fit the larger lemons and limes. I have found I need to cut the ends off and then cut them in half before squeezing. It is a good product for it's size and price.
