As With other reviewers I too got the card error with my Canon S400
This card was good for awhile with loads of capacity. I started getting an card error on the camera and thought it was the camera. Other cards would not get the error. I tought it was after erasing some of the photos from the camera (it still happened after taking pictures a few days without erasing). I did not loose any pictures card was still readable with card readers (I had to carry more flash cards). After going to Disneyworld and being disappointed with the CF card, I decided to use the lifetime warranty get RMA from kingston.com website. This thing has never failed me.
I've been shooting a Canon XT onto this chip and it has never once had a single glitch. It's fast on the uptake and on the download into the Mac. I'm shooting highest resolution+RAW and it keeps up with anything I'm doing.
Pretty idiot-proof.
Don't Buy!
At first this was a really good card. Lots of memory for your money. But than randomly in the middle of shooting; my camera would say there was an error with the card and all my photos would be gone. It just recently happened while I was at a wedding, it deleted ALL of the pictures that I had taken. I'm just grateful that I wasn'tthe profesional photographer for the wedding when this happened. I would recomend getting another brand like SanDisc or Lexar, names you can trust.
hm
I don't have any main concerns with Kingston CF/2GB-S 2 GB ElitePro CompactFlash Card (Retail Package), however, whenever I open my files and I'm playing music on Windows Media Player, for some reason, it ends up putting my music files into the card without me doing it. I don't know if it's my computer, but it becomes a problem when I try to take pictures and I'm out of space because of all the music that was somehow transferred into the card. The only way I can avoid it is if I don't have windows media player running at the same time.
